At 25 years old with a soul twice the age, This old soul was born into a small country family fresh to the city. Whether it was Motown and SoulFood with his Grandma or Johnny Taylor Muddy Waters, and Bar B Que with his Grandpa ;he always managed to find his way to the music. 

 

  This 1st Generation "city kid" would become Austin’s Chamothy the Great, member of the Fiyah Boy Flame Gang outfit; and he has been Working behind the mic and the boards to continue to open doors and work with artists from all over the southern region. His musical background spans from middle school band all the way to High School Choir where he was apart of various Honored Ensembles and studies Advanced Placement music composition and theory. As he works to expand his presence locally, Chamothy has one eye on bigger things. Through constant networking and shows & festivals this songwriter has a clear  agenda and is taking any“...opportunity for our art to reach anyone who wants to listen” 

 

  Over the last three years Chamothy has worked under the Die Slo Ent. umbrella. Die Slo features a variety of artists like Sertified, 2Tone, QWill, and Throwed House Click groups. He has had a hand in releasing albums and mixtapes such as Life After Regret, F.E.A.R., and The Goin Up EP. In addition to that, Chamothy is working on a couple of original albums including his latest project "The LateBloomer" that should be released soon.
